Being the patient parent He is, God finally showed me how merciful He is with me and it sunk in. Over and over He has had to forgive me for the same dumb things, some a lot worse than those for which I was not forgiving others. He has a way of making me listen that is gentle yet strong, poignant yet "softly" to the heart" of the issues. I so appreciate His gentleness with me.
