Beautiful Savior… “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
Jesus is beautiful! He is the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star. He is the Rose of Sharon and Immanuel: God with us. Our strong Savior is a tower of refuge, a secure cleft in the rock and the solid rock of our salvation. “For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe” (Psalm 61:3). Jesus protects His precious progeny.
Christ is a suffering servant, an unselfish servant, a humble servant and a sacrificial servant. He is the Son of Man, the Son of God, the Lamb of God and Lord of all. Jesus is our Emancipator, our Deliverer, our God and a light to our dark path. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12b). He is a beautiful Savior that brings direction to His disciples.
He is “I am”, the Great Shepherd, the Lion of Judah, our Kinsmen Redeemer, the Bread of Life and Living Water. Jesus is the mediator between God and man, the final Judge, our Advocate and He is Mighty God and Prince of Peace. “And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6b).
Christ is the scapegoat for our sin and the final sacrificial lamb for the sins of mankind. He is the resurrected Lord, the returning Lord and the Lord of all. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Our beautiful Savior is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Word made flesh, the door, the gate, the way, the truth, the life and the Lover of your soul. He is holy, gentle and meek in spirit. He defeats the enemy and casts Satan into hell for eternity.
He is Messiah, the miracle worker, healer, preacher, teacher and friend. He forgives sin, judges sin and loves sinners. He is love. He is God. So, adore your beautiful Savior in majestic worship and praise. Enjoy the beauty of His compassionate countenance. Jesus Christ is your beautiful Savior ready to save to the uttermost all who believe. Embrace the beauty of your Savior; He will make something beautiful of your life. Behold Jesus!
“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25 NKJV).
Have I received Jesus as my Savior through repentance and faith? Do I worship Him in the beauty of His holiness?
